2012 Transaction Volume growth fuelled by UK online business

Transaction Volume growth fuelled by UK online business.

Looking back at 2012, we processed 95 million transactions for the year. It’s our best year in terms of growth as it represents a 53% increase on the volumes we processed in 2011. December, just gone was the busiest month yet with 10.37 million transactions processed. Irish based retailers now account for 41% of the volumes we process. Our UK based clients represent 40% and our international clients the remaining 19%.

Growth in Ireland has also been good, despite the economic climate and our domestic volumes grew by 31%. The UK however is growing at 84% year on year and it is now our largest market. We have won many new clients over the last year in gaming, online retail, financial services and travel. These sectors are seeing considerable growth in online sales and a continued shift from high street to online. In addition we have a large distribution partner in the UK – a deal we signed in early 2012.

During 2012 we also moved to new Dublin offices at Sir John Rogerson’s Quay and grew to over 140 people. We would like to thank all our clients, developers, partners and financial institutions with whom we work for your continued support and we look forward to working together in 2013.

Colm.

I have been browsing online more than 4 hours today, yet I
never found any interesting article like yours. It’s pretty worth enough for me. In my opinion, if all webmasters and bloggers made good content as you did, the web will be a lot more useful than ever before.
